How to Sign Out of Netflix on Android and iPhone

  1. Open the Netflix app on your Android phone or iPhone and open one of the profiles.
  2. Tap on the account icon at the top-right corner.

  1. Press the “Sign out” option at the bottom.
  2. A confirmation screen will show up. Tap on “Sign out.”

How to Sign Out of the Netflix Website on PC

  1. Open Netflix.com in a browser on your computer.
  2. Select one of the Netflix profiles to view the main screen.

  1. Click on your account icon at the top-right corner and select “Sign out of Netflix” from the menu.

Doing so will sign you out on the current browser. However, if you are logged in to a different browser on your PC, you will have to repeat the above steps to sign out from that one as well.

How to Sign Out of the Netflix App on PC

  1. Open the Netflix app on your computer and go to one of the profiles.
  2. Click on the three-dot icon at the top and select “Sign out” from the menu.

How to Sign Out of the Netflix App on Smart TV and Fire TV Stick

The following steps will let you log out from the Netflix app on your Smart TV from popular brands like Samsung, LG, etc. You can also use it to log out from Netflix on a Fire Stick.

  1. Open the Netflix app on your TV or Fire Stick.
  2. Select any of the available Netflix profiles.
  3. On the main Netflix screen, open the left sidebar menu in the Netflix app. You will need to press the “Back” button on the remote for that.
  4. Scroll down in the menu using the “Down” arrow on the remote.
  5. Once you are at the bottom of the menu, use the right arrow to go to the “Get Help” option.

  1. Press the “Select” button on the remote to open the “Get help” screen.
  2. Scroll down and go to the “Sign out” option. Press the “Select” button on the remote. If a confirmation screen shows up, select “Yes.”

If you are unable to open or reach the “Get help” screen, press the following buttons on the remote in the same order that they are mentioned on the main screen of Netflix:

  • Up, Up
  • Down, Down
  • Left, Right
  • Left, Right
  • Up, Up, Up, Up

If the above method doesn’t work on your Fire Stick, go to “Settings → Applications → Manage all installed applications” on your Fire Stick. Scroll down and go to Netflix. Select the “Clear data” option to be logged out of the Netflix app.

How to Remotely Sign Out of Netflix on Other Devices

If you forgot to sign out of your Netflix account from your Airbnb, hotel, or a friend’s phone, or if random people appear to be logged in to your Netflix account, thankfully, you can remotely sign out of Netflix.

There are three ways to remotely sign you out from your Netflix account on any device: using a PC, mobile, or by changing your Netflix password.

Method 1: Remotely Sign Out of Netflix Accounts Using a PC

Follow the steps below to remotely log out of Netflix from one device or all devices simultaneously.

  1. Open Netflix.com in a browser on your computer.
  2. Click on the account icon at the top and go to “Account.”

  1. To log out of all devices, click on the “Sign out of all devices” option under “Security & privacy.”

  1. If you want to log out from one device remotely, click on “Manage access and devices.”

  1. You will see all the devices where you are logged in to your Netflix account. Click on the “Sign out” button on your device.

Method 2: Remotely Sign Out of Netflix Accounts Using Mobile

To remove a device from your Netflix account or sign out of all devices using the Netflix Android or iPhone app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Netflix app on your mobile.
  2. Tap on the account icon and go to “Account.”

  1. Scroll down and tap on “Sign out of all devices” to log out from all the devices where your Netflix account is signed in.

  1. Alternatively, if you want to log out from only one device, tap on “Manage access and devices.”
  2. Tap on the “Sign out” button under the device you wish to log out of.

Method 3: Change Netflix Password to Log Out of All Devices

  1. Open Netflix.com in a browser on your computer.
  2. Click on the account icon and go to “Account.”

  1. Click on “Change password.”

  1. Enter your current password as well as the new password. It’s important to make sure you check the box next to “Require all devices to sign in again with a new password.” Click on “Save.”

That’s it. Now, all of the devices where you are logged in with your Netflix account will be signed out automatically, and you will need to log in again if you would like to use Netfilx agin on those devices.
