Take a Full-Page Screenshot on Windows With Snipping Tool

Windows comes with its own tool that allows users to capture screenshots of their computer screen. There are various snip types, such as free-form, rectangular, window, and full-screen, that can help you select and save any part of the screen you want, such as part of or an entire webpage on your browser.

To use this tool to take a full-page screenshot, type “snipping tool” in the search bar, and click Open. Alternatively, press Win + Shift + S. In the following dialog, choose New, and select the type of screen capture you want. For a full-page screenshot, choose the Full-screen Snip option to immediately capture the entire screen.

Once the screenshot is taken, edit it in the Snipping tool window as well. To save the screenshot, click on the Save option (file icon) in the top-right corner.

Take a Full-Page Screenshot Using PrtScn

You can also capture your entire screen using the PrtScn key, also known as the Print Screen key, on your keyboard. Press the key, and it will take a screenshot of your entire screen that will be copied to the clipboard.

Windows also allows you to set the Print screen button to open the Snipping tool if you prefer that for your daily tasks.

Make a Full-Page Screenshot in Windows With Paint

Once you have taken a full-screen screenshot, there are different ways to edit and save it. If you are using the Print Screen method, the screenshot won’t save automatically; instead, it will be copied to your clipboard.

Use Microsoft Paint to save and edit it. Start by typing “paint” in the search bar, and clicking Open. Once Paint is open, paste the screenshot by pressing Ctrl + V. You can now use different tools to edit the screenshot. After making your edits, save the screenshot by clicking File -> Save As.

Pick your preferred format and location, then hit Save.

These methods will help you take a full-page screenshot on your Windows computer. Windows even allows you to take a scrolling screenshot and record your screen. If you want to try third-party tools to take screenshots, away from the built-in options, there are several feature-rich screenshot tools that can help you.
