Amazon Day: Get All Your Deliveries on the Same Day

Spread the love

Amazon has been a household name for years, but in 2020 Amazon’s sales hit an all-time high. With more people shopping with Amazon than ever before, some are creating a dedicated Amazon Day, where they receive all their packages for that week. This is ideal for people who have a regular working-from-home-day or a day when they stay in and catch up on household chores.

Here we show how to make missed deliveries and stolen packages a thing of the past while also reducing the amount of packaging used to ship your orders.

Introducing Amazon Delivery Day

With Amazon Delivery Day, you can order your Amazon goodies throughout the week, safe in the knowledge that they’ll all arrive on the same day. By scheduling all your deliveries for a day when you know you’ll be at home, you can reduce the chances of package theft or failed deliveries.

An Amazon Delivery Day can also help you avoid that frustrating situation where it’s your day off, and you have to spend it stuck at home, waiting for your Amazon delivery to arrive.

By grouping multiple purchases into a single delivery, you’ll also reduce the amount of boxes Amazon uses to ship your products. This is good news for the environmentally-conscious consumer or anyone who’s fed up with flat-packing hundreds of Amazon boxes, ready for the recycling.

By combining multiple deliveries into one, you can also reduce the number of times the Amazon van has to travel to your home. This can help reduce the carbon footprint associated with your online shopping habits.

It’s also worth noting that you aren’t constrained by your Amazon Delivery Day. After all, there are some packages you can’t wait for! Even if you create an Amazon Delivery Day, you’ll still have the option to choose faster shipping when it’s offered.

Before we begin

There are a few things you need to be aware of before choosing your Amazon Delivery Day.

Firstly, the Amazon Delivery Day service does require an Amazon Prime subscription. If you’re not already a Prime customer, you’ll either need to purchase a subscription or sign up for a free trial before proceeding.

In addition, only orders that are eligible for Prime shipping will be delivered on your Amazon Day. If an item isn’t eligible, Amazon will notify you as part of the checkout process.

How to schedule your deliveries with Amazon Prime

Now that the disclaimer’s out of the way, let’s make sure you never miss another Amazon package again:

1. Start the Amazon “Proceed to Checkout” process as you normally would.

2. Choose your address and payment method.

3. On the “Review items and delivery” page, select “Choose your Amazon Day.”

4. In the subsequent pop-up, you can choose up to two days when Amazon will deliver all your orders.

5. Once you’re happy with your selection, click “Save and Continue.” Your Amazon order will now update automatically to reflect your chosen Amazon Delivery Day(s).

6. Click “Buy Now” and complete the purchase process, as you normally would. This order will now be delivered on your designated Amazon Delivery Day.

Now every time you purchase an eligible product, “Free Amazon Day Delivery” will appear as a delivery option.
