1. How to Display the Word Count

Google Docs lets you check the overall word count of the document. It can also be tracked while typing. You can even track changes made to the document. To use both these features, follow the instructions below:

1. Click on the “Tools” option in the menu bar and select “Word count.” You will be shown the number of pages, words, and characters in a pop-up window.

You can also use the Ctrl + Shift + C (Windows) and Command + Shift + C (macOS) keyboard shortcuts in Google Docs to view the word count.
