Light Designed to Protect Your Eyes, Not Harm Them

The Quntis ScreenLinear Pro monitor light bar is designed to illuminate your workspace and protect your eyes. It provides as close as possible to natural lighting with 78 high-quality LED beads.

Quntis claims their lamps received an RG0 rating during IEC/TR 62778 blue light hazard testing, meaning it does not risk exposure or damage. In other words, the light bar does not emit any blue light, saving your eyes from additional exposure. That being said, the light does not counteract the blue light emissions of your monitor itself, so you should still resort to other forms of eye protection.

I used the Quntis light bar for several weeks during my regular work, during both daytime and nighttime, to determine if it helped my eyes. On the days I used the light bar, I did not experience any migraine attacks, eye fatigue, or pain related to staring at a computer all day, all of which count as wins in my book.

Furthermore, I wanted to see if the Quntis Monitor Light Bar prevented screen glare. According to the manufacturer, this light bar’s design provides an “unrivaled lighting experience with no screen glare.” Although the light bar did highlight how dirty my monitor was, it didn’t create a glare on the screen. Instead, it provided ample lighting for me to see my keyboard and mouse without shining in my eyes or making the screen difficult to see.

Make Adjustments at Any Time

Lighting in nearly any room changes throughout the day, based on sunlight. Also, people find different types of lighting better for certain tasks, like gaming or writing reviews of technology products. Therefore, it’s important for any light bar to allow for adjustments in both the color and brightness of the light.

The Quntis Monitor Light Bar contains a built-in ambient light sensor, so it can automatically adjust based on the room’s lighting. This works fairly well, but I didn’t always find it adapted the lighting to what I preferred, so I mainly used manual adjustments.

With the manual controls, you can quickly toggle between three different lighting modes: warm, natural, and cool white. Additionally, you can transform the brightness between four levels. For both, press down on the relevant button for three seconds, and the light bar adjusts.

I liked how easy it was to change the lighting, and I appreciated that I could do it without a remote or installing a program on my device.

Space-Saving Design

One of the benefits of the Quntis Monitor Light Bar is its space-saving design, which allows it to adapt to nearly any monitor between 15 and 22 inches in size. The bar includes a weighted clip, which gently rests on the monitor and holds the bar in place. According to Quntis, this space-saving, versatile design works for any monitor between 0.3″ to 1.4″ thick.

When I installed the Quntis ScreenLinear Pro on my monitor, I noticed it didn’t lock into place. So, I used one of the provided adjustment blocks to make the device fit my monitor.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough information on how to use the two adjustment blocks, so it was something I figured out on my own. While there is an Amazon video for this purpose, it didn’t show me how to actually attach the adjustment bars.

Do note that the Quntis ScreenLinear Pro’s design is not for all monitors. This monitor light will not work with curved monitors or laptop screens.
